Artist Statement

I am an emerging Baltimore-based queer electronic musician, producer, sound and visual artist striving to transform spaces sonically, socially, and visually. Conceptually, my work often explores the intersection of the human and non-human, and the liminal spaces of existence. I orchestrate performances and create interdisciplinary installations at an architectural scale- honoring the micro through a monumental presentation. By combining field recordings, vocals, electronic instruments, generative sound, and video processes, my hope is to create a sonic language that is futuristic and otherworldly yet relatable.

One reason I create is to develop and formulate complex ideas into multi-sensory experiences. My process has become of equal importance for initiating connection, collaboration and fostering meaningful relationships. This practice has become praxis for challenging hierarchies and individualism through imagining new worlds rooted in symbiosis and collective thriving. Through forming digital ecosystems/ habitats that fluid connections between queer culture and thriving non-human networks, my work breaks down borders and questions hierarchical systems. The outcomes are often futuristic, dreamy worlds informed by decentralizing heteronormative ideologies and celebrating queerness that may be unseen or unheard.
