Future Canopies
Created while at an artist residency in The Merriweather District, Reid built a geodesic dome and composed a 5 piece continuous loop paired with Johnny Roger’s projections. Future Canopies is a hybrid habitat- a digital and physical space housing collaged imagery and sounds of environmental and social ecosystems that support diverse life forms and symbiotic relationships. The compositions are observations of existing in isolation during a pandemic and themes for manifesting hope and connectivity.
