-Enthusiastic consent is mandatory in all cases

-Respect & affirm identies, boundaries, & pronouns

-Celebrate & respect LGBTQIA+ culture

Covid precautions: We are requiring masks when patrons are walking through the space and ordering at the bars. We have masks on hand if people do not have one. We ask that you hang on to them so we can keep it to one per person and provide them to as many people as possible. Bringing a mask from home is also helpful in spreading the love. We will be masked and negative tests are required before all shifts.

ACCESSIBILITY:

- ASL interpretation provided for events with a spoken or performance based musical element.

- Strobe lighting has been disabled in all lighting.

- Cafe (street) level at AYA is equipped with a permanent ramp at the entrace for individuals using mobility devices or who prefer not to use stairs.

-2 restrooms on street level can be used to a large degree of mobility device users (large space, grab bars installed)

-Patio is on ground level and fully accessible.

- Handrails are installed on both sides of the staircase.

We know this is not adequate and are in the process of applying for grants toward the installation of an elevator and automatic door switch. We have completed the build out of our ADA restroom on the second level so we can be accessible immediately upon completion of the elevator install.

In addition, AYA is creating QR codes for the menu that can be used on cell phones to meet audible menu needs.

We invite feedback and the sharing of additional resources in this area as we are trying to expeditiously complete this process.
